- New, all-metal four-seat kit aircraft,
based on the FAA type-certificated ZENITH CH 2000
design by aeronautical engineer Chris
Heintz.
- Simple and conventional all-metal
construction: Proven durability yet simple to build. The conventional sheet-metal construction, using modern aluminum alloys and state-of-the-art manufacturing technology, provides a very durable yet sleek airframe, requiring minimal maintenance.
- Build from the
standard complete kit or from Quick-Build kits. Component
'buy-as-you-build' section
kits are also available.

- Affordable to own and operate - purchase
and fly for less
cost than many two-seat kit aircraft on the market today.
- Standard kit developed for the first-time builder -
construction time estimated at about 1,250
hours - a shorter build-time than many two-seat kits on the
market...
- New Quick Build Kit further minimizes
construction time...
- Not a high performance design, the new four-seat CH 640 is a
pilot-friendly aircraft suitable for the average recreational pilot,
yet has the capabilities for a serious IFR cross-country cruiser.
- FLIGHT TRAINING: Based on the CH 2000
production aircraft, you can build time in the trainer before flying
your own CH 640.
- Powered by the Lycoming O-360 (180-HP)
for proven reliability.
- SIMPLICITY: Simple and conventional systems make
building and flying the new Zodiac CH 640 easy, while
minimizing costs and maintenance requirements.
- VISIBILITY: 'Wrap-around' windows provide excellent visibility, and the modern gull-wing doors allow easy cabin access from either
side to both the front and rear seats..

- COMFORT: An unprecedented 46-inch wide cabin provides pilot comfort previously unavailable in a
light aircraft. Adjustable front seats comfortably accommodate both large and small pilots
alike.
- PERFORMANCE:
Excellent cross-country capability while being easy to fly for the
average pilot.
- HANDLING: Responsive and balanced controls make the
new Zodiac CH 640 easy and fun to fly,
and allow superior cross-wind capability.
- CONTROLS: Standard dual yoke controls and rudder / toe-brake pedals make the novice pilot feel immediately at ease at the controls. The large panel easily accommodates standard instruments and can be upgraded with sophisticated avionics.
- CAPABILITIES: Designed primarily as
an affordable four-seat "family" aircraft, the CH 640 can
also be equipped as a serious IFR cross-country aircraft.

The new ZODIAC CH 640 offers the utility that only a four-seat kit
aircraft can provide...

This Zenith
CH 300 set an FAI world record in 1978, flying non-stop from
the Pacific to the Atlantic over Canada: 2,800 miles in 22.75
hours. Piloted by Red Morris. |

|
| The three-seat Zenith CH 300 was
designed by Chris Heintz in the 1970s and sold as a kit. It is a predecessor
to Zenith CH 2000 and Zodiac series kit aircraft. The
aircraft pictured above is now on display in the Canada
